Military & Veteran Therapy
We provide therapy in person for military and veteran individuals, couples, and families in the Tempe, Chandler, Phoenix area.

Military service shapes identity, relationships, and nervous systems in complex and lasting ways. We provide culturally informed, trauma-focused therapy for active-duty service members, veterans, and their loved ones throughout Arizona.

We understand that military service can lead to Veteran's navigating and holding conflicting emotions. It is possible to feel deep pride, loyalty, and love for one’s country while also feeling harmed, unsupported, or discarded by the very systems you served. These experiences are not mutually exclusive and therapy can be a space where both truths are acknowledged without judgment.

Our clinicians recognize the systemic barriers that often complicate navigating military systems and the VA. Difficulty accessing services, feeling ignored, under-valued, or not adequately cared for can intensify grief, anger, and disillusionment. We approach these experiences with respect for the realities of service culture and the structural challenges that may follow.

We also understand that privacy is essential. For veterans seeking care outside of state or government-connected systems, we offer trauma therapy through The Headstrong Project, which provides up to 30 confidential, no-cost trauma therapy sessions for eligible veterans. This program operates independently and is not connected to the VA or government systems. Veterans can self refer via the Headstrong Project website and then request to be assigned to Jade Rice.

Whether addressing PTSD, identity shifts after service, relational strain, or family stress, we provide structured, trauma-informed care that moves at your pace while maintaining direction and accountability.
